The craving hits me like a bull in Pamplona. I need chicken wings. My taste buds desire the crisp flavorful skin and the moist juicy meat that leaves me ever so satisfied.
I know there is no other food that will gratify my hunger. At this moment, chicken wings is my nicotine. My body will go into shock if I do not fulfill this desire.
My foot slams the gas pedal and my car is a Lockheed YF-12 rushing to the nearest pizza store. Speeding along, I came across a street sign called Tuscany Road and it all hit me at once. It was an epiphany! I was going to make my own version of an Italian chicken wing and it would derive from the Tuscan culture. My Tuscan Wings will be delicious!
I had a friend once who loved to cook. He would buy the most expensive piece of meat at the market. He would marinate it for hours upon hours with all sorts of ingredients and then combine more ingredients for the finished dish. I think he thought he was producing this culinary masterpiece, but instead everyone else believed he was ruining his expensive piece of meat.
In Tuscany this would never happen. . Tuscan cooking is based on simple meals that are inexpensive and not complicated. They use fresh ingredients that are grown from the regions gentle hills, and they never use any complicated seasonings or elaborate creations. Their food is real and that is what I tried to pursue when I develop this recipe. Their are not a lot of ingredients to this recipe, but there is a lot of flavor that you and your guests will be talking about for days to come.
Tuscan Wings is a new addition to my menu and I recommend you make them yourself!
